The Betrayal Trauma course is both informative and interactive. You can expect to learn in a variety of ways, including role-plays, demonstrations, discussions and presentations. You will be supported by experienced facilitators who are there to answer any questions and to provide a safe environment that is conducive to learning. Counts towards 12 CEC hours.

Gain knowledge of betrayal trauma and all that forms of trauma that exist within it.

Betrayal trauma affects most people, yet they rarely know what it is. infidelity, adverse childhood experiences, abuse, exploitation (including in the workplace), prejudice, and injustice are all types of betrayal.

QUALIFIED INSTRUCTION

Sandy Joy is a Registered Psychotherapist and certified Trauma Specialist with an expertise in Betrayal Trauma and all of the components that exist within this form of trauma.

12 CEC HOURS

The course has been created for individuals serving the helping field. A credit of 12 CEC hours can be logged for attending this informative, engaging, and thought evoking training experience with highly qualified instructors.

Professional Instruction

You will be supported by Registered Psychotherapists who have extensive experience with trauma and Betrayal Trauma.

Experiential Learning

We will go beyond powerpoint and paper and give you opportunities for hands-on learning. You will get ample opportunity to practice identifying and supporting clients using role plays and live demonstrations.

Supervision Paradigms

Learn how to apply techniques to support your clients in an ethical manner. Opportunity to consult on a variety of case studies with peers and the instructors.

Interactive Activities

Engage with peers to enhance your learning through case studies, discussion, and much more.

Technical Support for Virtual Attendees

A dedicated staff member who is trained in Betrayal Trauma will be available to support virtual attendees. Audio and Visual technical support will be available both days to help attendees ensure they have a seamless experience.

Networking Opportunities

Included for in-person attendees: Networking opportunities during scheduled lunch breaks. Light refreshments also provided.
